Hi, I’m Shayla Lawson — wife, mom, strength training nerd, and the coach behind Body Like Yours..
I started Body Like Yours because I know firsthand how hard it can be to balance fitness, nutrition, and life. I’ve been where so many of my clients are—feeling frustrated by inconsistent results and overwhelmed by conflicting advice. I’m passionate about helping women break free from the ‘all or nothing’ mentality and teaching them how to nourish, move, and love their bodies in a way that feels empowering.
I help busy women build sustainable strength, heal their relationship with food, and create habits that help them thrive for life — not just for a season.
I believe your body isn’t a problem to fix. It’s a home to care for, strengthen, and honor — even in the middle of long work days, school drop-offs, and everything else on your plate.

We empower working moms and career women to build strength, consistency, and lasting self-care habits through authenticity and community. Our approach focuses on the basics of nutrition, movement, and mindset—making healthy living feel simple and sustainable. We believe in bridging the gap between dreams and daily actions, turning overwhelming goals into empowering wins. Because when women thrive, so does everyone around them.
